L.E.D blend elements of Electro-dance and catchy Pop hooks creating, infectious, fun-loving party music with a mixed balance of rap and vocals. The band share their stories of how Jesus has impacted their lives whilst bringing a positive and life changing message of the Gospel.
The band launched in 2011 and is fronted by Chris and Nikki Uglow who have a passion to encourage young people to step out and be who God has created them to be.
Working mainly in Secondary Schools, L.E.D have been touring the South West of England and across the UK with their high octane shows. Bringing schools alive with big tunes and beats, along with their dynamic, engaging and inspirational lessons breaking the stereotypes of what it is to be a Christian.
The name L.E.D stands for ‘Let Everyone Decide’. There are two meanings behind the bands name; A lot of their work in schools promotes discussions around making the right choices in life and how to deal with some of life’s big pressures such as alcohol and drugs, relationships, self worth, identity, gangs, and respect etc. Ultimately it is hoped that they will see that we all have a choice to make and that is whether to follow Jesus.
L.E.D's forth album ‘Jericho’ has a bigger sound and style built for this current generation and was awarded 'Album Of The Year 2015' by Louder Than The Music. This is definitely their biggest album yet and has gone down a storm with the people they meet. The album contains the hit tracks ‘Jericho’ and ‘Forever (supporting Compassion UK)'.
“CROSS RHYTHMS HAS BEEN WAITING A LONG TIME FOR AN ALBUM (AND THE YOUTUBE VIDS) LIKE ‘JERICHO’… THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT MINISTRY ALBUMS OF 2015” 10/10
